TRAFFIC AND TRAVEL INFORMATION

In order to provide real time traffic and travel information to our customers we use many technological instruments and various forms of communication. Safety is always our primary goal.

Variable message panels (Vmp) are used to inform our clients on road and traffic conditions due to road works, accidents, congestion or weather conditions. In normal traffic conditions these panels are used to display useful information on issues such as road safety and applicable laws. At the moment, on our road and motorway network 423 Vmps's are operated remotely by our Regional Monitoring Centres.

Information also travels online through our VAI app  – the Anas Integrated Viability system-  that offers real time geo-referenced information on traffic conditions and open construction sites, as well as the calendar of particular driving restrictions that relate to certain periods of the year (Special Action Plans), such as our “Snow Plan” and “Summer Exodus Plan”.

To download our VAI app click here.
